The summer school will feature a set of intensive lectures in the fundamentals of theoretical physics for motivated undergraduates who wish to pursue research in Physics. The lectures will be self-contained and start from basic principles and progress into selected special topics. In addition, there will be special research seminars on research carried out in IIT Bombay.
Who can apply: Second and third year Physics undergraduates of Mumbai area colleges.
Dates: 3rd June - 14th June, 2019
The summer school is FREE. There is NO application or registration fee. NO ACCOMMODATION will be provided.
Each course will consist of SIX 1.5-hour lectures.
There will be special research seminars by faculty members introducing cutting-edge research topics.
Additionally, an Astronomy Night may be arranged, subject to weather conditions.
