The department of Physics at IIT Bombay has a strong reputation of pursuing cutting-edge research in diverse areas spanning from high energy particle physics to nanotechnology and nanoscience.

SYMPHY 2015 is the 5th annual symposium organized by the Research Scholars' Association of Physics (RSAP), IIT Bombay, scheduled to be held on 9 and 10 th of May, 2015. It will provide a platform for research scholars and young scientists to learn about emerging areas of physics and interact with eminent scientists from different reputed institutes of the nation. The program will also showcase the research activities of the physics and related departments of IIT Bombay.
